Digital Strategies Plan

Developed a concept for an AI-powered health and wellness app connecting users, gyms, and smart equipment. Created a prototype in Axure and designed a digital strategy, including customer journeys, KPIs, and SEO tactics.

This project involved conceptualizing an AI-powered health and wellness app as an academic exercise rather than a real product. The goal was to explore how AI-driven technology could enhance fitness experiences by connecting users, gyms, and smart equipment. Given the global fitness industry’s growth—valued at $104 billion in 2022 and projected to reach $202.78 billion by 2030—the rising demand for wearable technology and mobile fitness applications presented an opportunity to design an innovative solution. The project focused on defining the app’s core functionalities, designing a prototype in Axure, and developing a comprehensive digital strategy, including customer journey mapping, key performance indicators (KPIs), search engine optimization (SEO) tactics, and social media engagement.

The concept leveraged AI-driven machine learning and deep learning algorithms to generate personalized workout plans tailored to users’ fitness goals, whether for home workouts or gym training. Natural language processing and pattern recognition were integrated to enhance form correction, provide predictive goal-setting capabilities, and improve overall workout efficiency. The user interface was designed using the seven principles of conversion-centered design, ensuring an engaging and mobile-optimized experience.

A detailed customer journey map outlined key touchpoints, including a personalized dashboard, real-time tracking, mobile app integration, leaderboards for gamified motivation, and visual guidance for exercise form. The target market was segmented into fitness enthusiasts training for specific events, individuals with wellness goals, and business travelers seeking convenient workout solutions. Data collection strategies—such as in-app tracking, surveys, feedback forms, and profile creation—were proposed to enhance personalization and improve user experience over time.

SEO strategies were implemented to optimize digital visibility. Using SEMrush, keywords with high relevance, high traffic, and low competition were identified to improve search rankings and user acquisition. A social media marketing strategy was also developed, featuring an Instagram mock-up with highlights, inspirational posts, educational content, influencer partnerships, and community-building initiatives. The campaign aimed to enhance brand awareness and foster an engaged user base.

IoT integration was a key focus, allowing users to sync with smart gym equipment and wearable technology such as WHOOP and Oura Ring. Strategic partnerships with local gyms, Peloton, and fitness tech companies were identified as potential avenues for expanding adoption and enhancing the overall fitness ecosystem.

This project demonstrated expertise in digital strategy, AI-driven service design, user experience development, and SEO optimization, highlighting the ability to apply emerging technologies to real-world business challenges in the health and wellness industry.
